Wash Hands Soap Water

Food handlers in restaurants schools delis and grocery stores must wash their hands with soap and water before applying hand sanitizers.

Religions also prescribe hygienic hand washing especially after certain actions. If soap and water are not readily available you can use an alcohol based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 alcohol. Rub your hands vigorously for at least 20 seconds. Wash your hands with soap and water when your hands are visibly soiled.

Note if soap and water are not available use hand sanitizer. Especially it recommends people. Apply soap and lather well. Washing hands with soap and water is the best way to get rid of germs in most situations.

You can tell if the sanitizer contains at least 60 alcohol by looking at the product label. Remember to scrub all surfaces including the backs of your hands wrists between your fingers and under your fingernails.
