I want to handle the situation properly and if there is a nest i dont want to anger any wasp that may come into the house and hurt my kids.

I ve tried pumping diatomaceous earth into the area but i m not getting to the nest and the powder is obviously missing at least some of the wasps.
When i invert the can and spray all i get is the aerosol no poison.
As with beehives that are similarly hidden from view there are several ways to determine whether wasps have set up home beneath your sidings.
A neighbor destroyed a mud nest hanging on her porch.
After dusting in the void where the wasps have a built a nest you can try spraying the siding with a product such as talstar p.
I found a wasp s nest in my loft and due to the size of the nest i had to call out a wasp removal company who were able to removal the wasps nest and seal up any holes.
Also i m not sure how well aluminum siding strips prepared like this will stay in place so your on your own here.
As a wasp nest beneath siding grows and branches out they may eventually find their way inside your home while searching further for food.
I m afraid i can t make cutting recommendations at this time.
Step 1 identify the position.
I don t think the wasp and hornet spray you ve applied will help.
I read that you can dust the siding and what not but i m worried if the hole was made by these paper wasps that i d leave them with no other exit than into the house.
I sprayed with raid wasp hornet but i am unable to reach the nest.
I ve tried sprays but find i must invert the can to reach the nest.

Putting a mirror under the siding did not reveal the nest.
You can spray once a month and any wasp that lands on treated areas will be eliminated within about 24 hours which should stop new wasps from being able to build a nest.
Also aluminum dust can be explosive.
For those with aluminum siding i ve read that inhaling aluminum dust can be very dangerous so wear a mask.
Wasps are nesting under the vinyl siding of my home where the foundation meets.
