Also known as a work surface wrapped island waterfall end panels or risers a waterfall island is a type of kitchen island wherein the countertop edge flows to the side of the island s body. Sometimes also called risers waterfall style refers to the way the quartz granite or marble countertopsextend down the side of an island or cabinet all the way to the floor. The beautifully veined marble on the kitchen island streams down on both sides creating one of the lushest looking counters we ve ever seen. Usually the horizontal worktop is extended vertically to the side panels of the cabinetry continuing down to the floor.

Unlike traditional countertops waterfall countertops continue from the edges down to the floor providing a seamless flow of marble quartz or whatever material you opt to go with. The tile backsplash behind the oven is a geometric marble with metallic inlay which creates a glamorous patterning.
